A New Wave of Craft in Penghu
A new generation of Penghu-based artisans is blending local culture with modern design. Returning youth bring craftsmanship expertise and perspectives, working with materials like ceramics, metal, wood, textiles, leather, and marine debris. Together, they are shaping a contemporary craft movement rooted in the island’s traditions.
